Description

The buildings at 3 to 6, St Mark's Terrace, Moorside, with the later addition of 3A, were built around 1790 as a coach house and stables for The Poplars. Around 1851, they were converted into tenements, and 3A was built as back-to-backs, now forming one property. The buildings are constructed of sandstone, with stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. Nos. 4 and 5 retain two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds. The buildings are listed for their group value.
