Description

This is a circa 1840-50 public house front, likely the replacement facade of earlier 19th-century cottages. The building is associated with the Low Moor Ironworks. It is constructed of sandstone "brick" with a stone slate roof and corniced chimneys. The front features six round-headed lights with two doorways, all framed by pilasters and an entablature. Sash windows are located on the first floor. The rear of the building has two-light square mullion windows.
