Description

The Church of St Mark, built in 1857 by Mellinson and Healy, is an early English style cruciform church made of sandstone rubble. It features gabled aisles that flank the nave and has a small broached spire atop a low tower next to the north transept. The church includes a south porch, and the transepts are adorned with large rose windows in their gables. Additionally, there is a spherical triangle window in the main west gable.
