Description

Dye Royd Farmhouse is a 17th and 18th century farmhouse built on a longhouse plan, with an adjoining barn. The farmhouse is constructed of thin-coursed gritstone with flush quoins, and has a stone slate roof that extends over the rear outshut. The barn was partly rebuilt in the 19th century. The farmhouse has three windows on each floor, each with two or three lights and chamfered mullions, featuring splayed reveals. A plain, squared jamb doorway provides access. The interior retains oak floor beams and exposed joists.
