  1. Dated 1868 and built as Mechanics Institute. Two-storey pediment gable ashlar front with finial. Three bay elevation. Impost string links 2 outer keyed, arched, first floor windows with centre group of 3. Consoled sills on sill band. Pilastered and corniced doorways flank ground floor tripartite window with cornice over. Side elevations with plain round-headed windows.
