Description

No 14 on Moorside Road is a small villa built around 1850-1860. It is two storeys high and constructed from dressed sandstone bricks. The slate roof features console brackets at the flat boxed eaves and has corniced chimneys. The front of the villa is symmetrical with three bays and includes a sill band on the first floor. Above the doorway, there is a central window framed in ashlar, flanked by engaged Doric columns and an entablature. This building is included for its group value.
