Description

The Beaumont Memorial Fountain, erected in 1861 in memory of Alderman Thomas Beaumont, is located to the north of Cliffe Road Lodge in Peel Park. The fountain features tall piers with red granite corner shafts and archivolt arches. At the top, there is a short spire adorned with carved heads. Beneath the fountain head, there is floral and leaf carving. This fountain is a prominent feature at the south end of the park.
