Description

Laburnum House is a small detached house dating from around 1830. It stands two storeys tall and is constructed of sandstone "brick" with a stone slate roof and saddlestones. The eaves feature paired dentil brackets, and there are sill bands on both floors. The front has two bays with glazing bar sashes set in squared surrounds. The doorway is framed by an architrave surround, with flanking strips and large scrolled consoles supporting the cornice above.
