Description
A pair of cottages was built in the late 18th century, likely around 1776, and is associated with the canal. The cottages are constructed of sandstone "bricks" with flush quoins. They have a gable-ended stone slate roof. The front of the cottages features two-light square mullion windows with wooden casements. The gable end facing the canal has three-light square mullion windows. The doorways are simply framed in squared stone.
