Description
The British Waterways Authority Works Depot building, located by the summit of Dobson Locks on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal, dates from around 1800. It is a two-storey structure made of sandstone "brick" with a stone slate roof featuring saddlestones at the gable ends. The building has four windows with fixed glazing bars and two hatches. Additionally, there is a single-storey office section that includes two windows flanking a door.
