Description

Nos 4 to 10, Burnwells, along with Nos 43 and 45 Thackley Road, were built as three-storey back-to-back tenements, dated 1800 (on No 6). Nos 8 and 10 are two-storey structures that adjoin the taller blocks. The buildings are constructed from sandstone, which appears like brick, with flush quoins. They have stone slate roofs and corniced chimneys. The three-storey sections contain three-light square mullion windows, with single lights in the centre, set within squared surrounds. The doorways have plain, squared jambs.
