Description
Nos 10, 11, and 12 Ashdowne Place are three tenements built around 1840-1850, possibly on the site of a barn or outbuilding associated with Nos 8 and 9. The buildings are two stories high and constructed of rendered sandstone. They feature a stone slate roof with bracketed wooden gutter eaves, coped gable ends, and a central chimney stack. Each tenement has two windows with plain stone surrounds, and the glazing bar sashes remain intact at the rear. The doorways have squared stone jambs, and there is a round-headed window located on the gable end facing the road.
