Description

This is a row of cottages located in Back Lane, Clayton Heights, dating from the 18th century to the early 19th century. Number 13 is the oldest of the cottages and is built with larger sandstone "bricks" and has flush quoins. Numbers 9 and 11 appear as a pair. The cottages have stone slate roofs and two-light square mullion windows with squared frames. They feature plain, squared stone door surrounds.
