Description
Nos 20 and 22 on New House Lane are a pair of cottages built around 1800. They are constructed from thin sandstone that resembles brick and feature a stone slate roof with prominent kneelers at the gable ends. The cottages have corniced chimneys and sill bands on both floors. Each cottage has three-light square mullion windows, with a single light positioned above the doorways, all set within squared surrounds. The doorways have plain squared jambs.
