Description

Ackroyd Square is a row of cottages located to the rear of No 63 to 75 (odd) Highgate Road in Clayton Heights, dating from around 1800 to 1830. These two-storey cottages are constructed from sandstone brick and feature stone slate roofs. They have two-light square mullion windows, although some of these windows have been altered. The doorways have squared jambs. This row of cottages is included for its group value in the core of Old Dolphin Hamlet.
