Description
Nos 6, 8, and 10 on New House Lane are a row of sandstone "brick" cottages built around 1800 to 1830. They feature basements and have stone slate roofs with paired brackets at the eaves. The cottages are designed with two-light square mullion windows, which have a single light above the doorways, all set in squared surrounds. Access to the plain doorways is via a flight of stone steps, also framed by squared surrounds. These cottages are included for their group value.
