Description

Nos 2 and 4 on New House Lane are a pair of sandstone "brick" cottages built around 1800 to 1830. They feature a stone slate roof with prominent kneelers at the gable ends and paired brackets at the eaves. The cottages have wood casement windows set in squared surrounds and squared jamb doorways. They are included in the listing for their group value.
