Description

No. 78 Highgate Road is an early 19th-century building with a long two-storey frontage made of thin sandstone "bricks". It was extended around 1850-1860 and has a slate roof. The building features two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds, along with some blocked former openings. To the right, there is an extension that includes a two-storey canted stone bay with sill bands and square mullion lights, topped with a hipped roof. The doorways have squared jambs.
