Description

These are two houses, originally part of a larger 18th-century building at 430 Shetcliffe Lane. The houses are constructed of coursed gritstone with a stone slate roof. The east gable features saddlestone and prominent kneelers. Each house has two windows on each floor. The window reveals are splayed and were originally mullioned. Number 426 has a two-light window dating from around 1800 with a square mullion on the ground floor, and a blocked doorway to the right. The gable end has small, round-headed splayed reveal windows. An outshut is located at the rear.
