Description

Rooley Cottage Farmhouse is a 17th century farmhouse that has undergone later alterations. It may have originally been a timber-framed building that was recased in gritstone. The structure is two stories tall and features a stone slate roof with rendered walls. Some of the windows have been modernized. On the ground floor of the rear elevation, there is a three-light window that was originally a six-light, with chamfered mullions. Inside, the farmhouse retains exposed main beams that are roughly stop-chamfered.
