Description

The School House at Wapping Road School is a building dating from around 1877, with some minor alterations made in the 20th century. It is constructed of rockfaced stone with ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof with a coped side wall stack. The building has two storeys plus an attic and is arranged in a 1 x 3 bay layout.

The entrance front has a central 20th-century door with an overlight, flanked by single windows. Above this, there is a single window to the right, with a smaller window to the left. The left gable features a single central window on each floor, and all these windows have been reglazed. The rear gable includes a door to the left and a window to the right, with a smaller window beyond. Above, there is a plain sash window on each floor.

The interior was not accessible during the survey.
