Description

This is a barn, now used as a shop, that dates from the early to mid-18th century. It is constructed from hammer-dressed stone that has been whitewashed, and it features a stone slate roof. The barn has four bays and includes two segmental-arched cart entries, each with a chamfered surround. Between these entries, there is a small doorway and a window, both also with chamfered surrounds. The rear of the barn has a similar cart entry opposite the central one. Inside, there is a notable oak roof supported by queen-post trusses. The barn is attached to Number 78 on the west and Number 80 on the east.
