Main Block To All Saints Church Of England First School

The main block of All Saints Church of England First School is a long, two-storey Gothic-style building located on Kennion Street in Little Horton Green. Constructed from sandstone "brick" with ashlar dressings, the school features an asymmetrical design with gabled bays and hipped gable dormers. It has two and three light mullion and transom windows. At the north end, there is a square tower that rises three storeys and is topped with a pyramidal slate spire, situated next to a cross wing hall that has plate traceried windows on the east and west sides. The building is covered by a steeply pitched slate roof with weathered capping on the chimneys. Additionally, there is a weathered sill course on the school range that is raised as a string course between the storeys of the master's house at the south end.
