Description
This building is a mill, constructed in the mid to late 19th century, known as the Bingley Mills Ltd Tops Warehouse. It features hammer-dressed stone and a Westmorland green-slate roof. The structure stands four storeys high, with a five-storey tower, and has 14 bays of windows. There are corner pilasters and a sill band on each floor. The ground floor has semicircular-arched windows, which are currently blocked, while the upper three floors have windows with segmental-arched lintels. The building has an eaves band and a heavily modillioned cornice at the gutters.
To the left, there is a square tower that includes a semicircular-arched window with an impost band and keystone on the ground floor, along with two smaller lights above. The second and third floors each feature stilted arched windows with impost bands and segmental lintels. The fifth floor has a two-light window with three arched lights and a pyramidal roof. The right-hand return consists of five bays, with a central taking-in bay on each floor, topped by a Venetian window with an impost and keystone in the attic storey. The gable is heavily modillioned and coped, with a chimney at the apex.
