Description

Nos 3, 5, and 7 on Cross Road are a row of two-storey cottages built around 1800 to 1820. The cottages are constructed from sandstone "bricks" and feature stone slate roofs with corniced chimneys. Each cottage has two windows, which are two-light, framed, and have square mullions. The doorways are plain with squared jambs, and there are three-light mullioned windows located at the rear. Additionally, there is a former low house that is now part of No 7 and is positioned at right angles to it.
