Description

Nos 7 and 9 Howgate are a cottage row dating to approximately 1800 to 1820. The buildings are constructed of sandstone that appears like brick, with a roof of stone slate. They feature wooden gutters and tall, corniced chimneys. The windows are mullioned, with two and three lights, set within squared surrounds. The doorways have squared jambs.
