Description

This is a circa 1820-30 three-storey building situated on the corner of Thorp Garth and Ley Fleats Road. It has a narrow, single-bay front and a two-bay gable end return. The building is constructed of sandstone, with a stone slate roof. It features two-light square mullion windows set in squared surrounds. A round-headed window is located centrally in the gable. A squared jamb doorway is present. Mid-19th century shop windows, with three lights within pilaster frames and console brackets to the cornices, were added to both fronts.
