Description
Number 25 and the attached outbuilding is a house and former coach house dating from the early 18th century, which was refurbished in the late 20th century. The building is constructed of coursed rubble with a rendered gable and ashlar dressings, topped with a stone slate roof featuring a single ridge stack. It has two storeys and a four-window range. The windows are late 20th century glazing bar casements with stone lintels, including a central single light window flanked by two-light windows, and a larger single light window between the floors on the left. Below, there is a central late 20th century gabled porch flanked by two-light casements, with the right one being larger. To the right, set back, is the coach house, which is also two storeys and has pitching eyes. Below this, to the left, is a garage entrance with a wooden lintel. In the return angle, there is a single-storey stone outshut with quoins, a stone slate roof, and a single window. The interior is said to feature six-panelled doors and several 19th century cast-iron fireplaces, which have decorative moulding on the frieze and engaged side columns, along with some stone flagged floors.
