Description
The walls, railings, and gates to High Storrs School were built in 1933 by WG Davies and JL Womersley, who were Sheffield City Architects. They are constructed from red brick with concrete dressings. The low brick wall features concrete coping and iron railings, supported by panelled square brick piers topped with flat concrete caps. There are two gates on High Storrs Road, accompanied by concave walls and railings, which include tall square panelled gate piers with flat concrete caps. The gates are made of wrought iron. The wall and railings extend approximately 200 meters along High Storrs Road and about 50 meters along Ringinglow Road. This structure is included for its group value.
