Farmhouse, now community centre. Dated 1675, incorporating an earlier structure, with C19 alterations and additions, converted and restored c1970. Internal cruck structure. Coursed rubble with ashlar and concrete dressings and concrete tile roof with a stone gable stack. Coped gables with kneelers. 2 storeys; 3 window range. Double range plan with rear wing. Windows are late C20 glazing bar casements with C17 chamfered stone surrounds. Central 2-storey porch with a small 3-light window, and above it a blank oval with keystone. On either side, a 4-light window. Below, chamfered doorway with massive stone lintel and C20 door. To left, a 3-light and a 2-light window, and to right, a 3-light one, all with drip moulds. Beyond, to left, a set back single storey addition with a 3-light window with concrete lintel. Left gable has a single window on each floor, the lower one blocked, with chamfered surrounds. Rear wing has a single window with chamfered surround and drip mould in the right return angle. To right, C20 single storey addition. INTERIOR has 3 pairs of heavy crucks with collar beams, neck pieces and ridge. Single purlin roof with wind braces. (Bunker B: Cruck Buildings: 1970-: 37-38).
