Description
446 and 448 Fulwood Road are two houses built in the late 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th and 20th centuries. They are constructed of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and feature a stone slate roof with brick gable and ridge stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have a three-window range of 16-pane sash windows with painted stone surrounds. On the ground floor, there is a central 16-pane sash window, to the right of which is a mid-20th century door, followed by a late 20th century three-light glazing bar casement. To the left, there is a late 19th century half-glazed door, followed by an early 20th century cross casement. The ground floor openings are topped with painted stone lintels. The interior has not been inspected.
