Description
This is a house located at 113 Upperthorpe Road, built around 1840. It is constructed of brick with ashlar dressings and features a hipped and gabled slate roof, which has a single gable and a single side wall stack. The building has a plinth, a first-floor band, and plain wooden eaves. It stands two storeys high and has a three-window range. The windows are 12-pane sashes with brick flat arches above them. The central entrance is highlighted by a shallow Ionic portico that supports a half-glazed door with an overlight containing oval panes. On either side of the entrance, there are 15-pane sashes, also with brick flat arches. The interior has not been inspected.
