Description
This is a pigeoncote located 10 meters north of the stable range at Oaks Park, dating from the early 18th century. It is built from coursed squared stone and features a steeply pitched stone slate roof, which was originally topped with a square lantern that had an ogee dome, though this lantern has been destroyed by gales. The structure has quoins and coped gables, and a flight shelf on all sides. It is two storeys high with a square plan. The south front includes a small doorway with a chamfered surround on the first floor to the right. The right gable has a single-storey lean-to addition with a small window, while the left gable features a ground floor door to the right and a small window to the left.
