Description
The building is a barrack store, now used as offices, constructed between 1848 and 1854. It was utilized as industrial workshops in the mid-20th century and converted for office use in 1990. The structure is made of coursed squared stone with ashlar dressings and features a slate roof.
On the exterior, there is a plinth, a first-floor cill band, half-round eaves, and coped parapets. The building is two storeys high and has an eleven-window range. The windows are glazing bar sashes, although most were boarded at the time of the survey. The recessed center includes a central loft door positioned between two windows, with a central segmental pointed doorway below that has been altered to a window, flanked by two additional windows. The slightly projecting end bays contain three windows each, and below these are two windows on either side of a segmental pointed door that has steps and a fanlight. The interior was not inspected.
