Description
22 and 24 Bank Street are two houses, now used as offices, built around 1840 and later refenestrated in the 19th century. They are constructed of brick with painted ashlar dressings and feature a slate roof with a gable stack. The eaves are decorated with wooden modillion. The buildings rise three storeys and have a single window range. On the ground floor, there is a central plain sash window, with a similar smaller sash window above it, and an off-centre plain sash window on the side. All windows are topped with splayed rusticated lintels. To the right, there is a plain doorcase with scroll brackets supporting a flat hood and a panelled door, while to the left, there is a blocked doorway. The interior has not been inspected. This listing is included for its group value.
