Description

The garden steps at Sandbeck Park date from the late 18th century or 19th century and were built for the Sandbeck Park estate. They are made of ashlar magnesian limestone and consist of three flights. Two flights flank the south front of Sandbeck Park, while the third is located at the north end of the east terrace. Each flight has six plain steps and is flanked by plain ramped kerbs. The 20th-century pedestals with urns placed at the top of each flight are not considered of special interest.
