Description

The double flight of steps to the south of the Pavilion in Mesnes Park, Wigan, was likely built around 1880. Made of sandstone ashlar, the wide steps rise in two flights, separated by an intermediate terrace. There are low side walls with moulded coping. These steps are part of a group with the Pavilion and are included for their group value.
