Description
The Brewhouse is a mid-18th century building that was constructed for the Hickleton Hall estate. It is made of ashlar limestone and has a Westmorland slate roof. The structure is a single storey with three bays across and one bay deep, featuring symmetrical facades. It has a plinth and a tall, round-arched central doorway that contains a six-panel door beneath a latticed screen. On either side of the doorway are round-arched recesses with two orders and a continuous impost band. The building has an eaves cornice and a hipped roof with a central ridge stack that includes a plinth and band. At the rear, there is a walled-up central doorway flanked by round-arched panels.
