Description
Park House is a mid-19th century house now divided into separate units. It is built from thinly coursed rubble with quoins and features a stone slate roof, showcasing a Vernacular Revival style. The building has a T-plan layout with a projecting rear wing and stands two storeys tall.
The left side has a single-bay gabled cross-wing, while the main facade is near-symmetrical with three bays. The windows are double-chamfered and have hoodmoulds. The wing includes a four-light window on each floor and a blocked square light in the apex. The deep moulded kneelers are topped with cable-copings.
The main range features a central stone gabled porch with a doorway that has a cambered head. There are five-light windows on the left and four-light windows on the right, present on both floors. The left return has a five-light window on each floor and a doorway to the left that leads into a 20th-century glazed porch. A later two-storey addition extends from the gable end of the rear wing but is not considered of special interest.
