Description

Village Farm is a house located on the north side of Main Street in Wheldrake. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and has undergone some alterations in the 20th century. The building is constructed of pinkish-brown brick and features a pantile roof. It stands two storeys high and has three bays. The central entrance consists of a 20th-century part-glazed door set beneath a cambered head. Throughout the house, there are casement windows, with those on the ground floor placed under 20th-century segmental arches. A two-course band runs along the first floor, and there are stacks at both ends. The gable ends display tumbled-in brickwork.
