Description

Ingle Cottage is a house dating from the late 17th to early 18th century, with later additions and alterations, including an outshut to the right. It is constructed of pinkish-brown brick and has a pantile roof. The house originally comprised three rooms arranged in a lobby-entry plan and now has four bays. A 20th-century panel door is located in the third bay, and the property has 20th-century casement and bow windows throughout. A stepped band marks the first floor, and a cogged band runs along the eaves. The roof is swept, and there are end and ridge stacks.
