Description
St Clements Church House is a house that now serves as a church house, built around 1830. It is constructed of brick with painted stone dressings and has a slate roof.
The exterior features a symmetrical facade that is two storeys high and consists of three bays. The windows are sashed without glazing bars and are topped with rusticated painted lintels. There is a sill band on the first floor. The central bay on the first floor has a blind recess with a rusticated lintel and displays the painted inscription: 'ST CLEMENT'S CHURCH HOUSE'. The timber doorcase is adorned with plain pilasters, square corner bosses, and a plain semicircular overlight. The door itself has six raised and fielded panels. The gutter is supported by rectangular timber brackets, and there are chimneys with truncated caps on both the left and right sides.
The interior has not been inspected. At the rear, this building is attached to St Clement's Church Hall on Nunthorpe Road.
