Description

This is a summerhouse located approximately 50 metres west of Number 107 The Retreat Hospital, likely built around 1900. It features diamond trellis timber screens and a hipped sprocketed roof made of tarred material. The structure is rectangular in shape. Inside, there is a central partition made of boards with bench seats attached to each side, and it is screened at both ends. This summerhouse is included for its group value as an integral part of The Retreat Hospital at No.107 Heslington Road.
