Description
89 The Mount is a house that was used as offices at the time of listing. It dates from the early to mid-19th century and consists of several builds. The exterior is finished in stucco, with chimneys made of exposed yellow brick. The front range features a hipped slate roof.
The building has two storeys and six bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes, with the second and fifth bays containing tripartite windows. The fourth bay has a doorway framed by a heavy pilaster doorcase, which includes panelled reveals and a dentilled cornice. There is a ridge chimney located between the second and third bays, along with several additional chimneys behind the ridge. At the rear, there is a parallel range with a hipped slate roof. The four-bay rear wall is constructed of yellow brick and also features glazing bar sashes.
The interior has not been inspected.
