Description

Eastfield is an early 19th-century building located on Bigby Street. It is two storeys high and constructed of yellow brick, topped with a hipped Welsh slate roof that features two chimneys. The front facade has three windows, all of which are hung sashes with glazing bars and lintels. On the ground floor, there are two windows and a doorway that is framed by plain pilasters and an entablature. The door has panelled reveals and a rectangular fanlight above it. The elevation facing Albert Street includes windows on both floors, one of which is modern. Eastfield is part of a visual group with No 25 Bigby Street and No 1 Albert Street, both of which are of local interest.
