Description

25 Bigby Street is an early to mid-19th century building that stands two storeys tall, constructed of yellow brick and topped with a Welsh slate roof. The façade features three windows with carved lintels and keystones, and the hung sashes do not have glazing bars. There is a band at the cills. On the ground floor, there are two canted bays supported by plain pilasters. The entrance is marked by a Tuscan column doorway, which includes a frieze and cornice, as well as fielded panels on the reveals and door. A rectangular fanlight is situated above the door. This building is part of a group with Nos 16 to 25 Bigby Street and also forms a group with Eastfield on Bigby Street and No 1 Albert Street, which is of local interest.
