Description

This building comprises numbers 16 to 19 Market Place, and incorporates a 18th-century front onto an earlier structure. It is two storeys with attics. The building is constructed of painted brick and render, with a small gabled dormer window to the right. There are two sliding sash windows with glazing bars within the dormers on the left-hand side. The other windows are mainly modern casements, along with 19th-century and modern shop windows. The left-hand occupancy lacks paired brackets at the eaves. A one-light, two-storey canted bay window is present on the left, featuring hung sashes with glazing bars. To the right, there is a shallower ground-floor canted bay window with a wooden entablature. Numbers 15 to 19, along with Kingston House and number 21, form a group.
