Description

Number 21 Market Place is a building from the 18th century with a front elevation that features two storeys and attics. It has a Welsh slate roof with two dormers that have sliding sashes. The exterior is rendered and includes an eaves cornice supported by paired brackets, as well as rusticated quoins. There are three windows without glazing bars, and two late 19th-century shop fronts, one of which retains arched glazing. The central entrance door has six fielded panels, two of which are glazed, and is set in a narrow surround with a flat hood supported by brackets. The entrance is accessed by four steps with iron handrails. Number 21 is part of a group with Nos 15 to 19, known as Kingston House.
