Description

The former Queen Inn is an early 19th-century building located on the west side of The Butchery. It stands three storeys tall, constructed of red brick with a pantile roof. The façade features three flush hung sash windows with glazing bars, set beneath stone lintels and slightly segmental arches on the second and third storeys. The ground floor includes one similar window and a six-panel door, two of which are glazed, along with a blocked rectangular fanlight above, also with a stone lintel. There is an additional four-panel door with a stone lintel and a rectangular fanlight. To the right, an extension has a diagonal-set brick eaves cornice and a pantile roof, along with a three-light sliding sash window featuring glazing bars and a large garage door.
