Description

The war memorial, located 10 metres south of the Church of St Mary in Kingston upon Hull, is a Calvary cross completed in 1921 and designed by Leslie Moore. It is constructed of ashlar and features a tapered broached octagonal shaft topped with a crucifix, with supporters beneath a gable. The memorial stands on a moulded octagonal plinth and has a square base with four steps. It is included for its group value.
